Horrified shoppers watched a fight break out in the Trafford Centre before a man was tackled by security staff.
One man told the Manchester Evening News that his daughter had watched the incident unfold while out shopping. He said crowds gathered on the upper floor looking over the railings and that a man had reportedly 'pulled out a machete'. "They saw a gentleman being held down by several security staff," he added. "Sounds like it could have been disastrous."on as chaos unfolded in the Trafford Centre on Friday evening . Police said a fight broke out before a man was detained by security staff and arrested.
