Center Nic Lynch comes to USD from Lehigh, where he played for four seasons
Nic Lynch, a 6-foot-11, 250-pound center who started the past three seasons at Lehigh, said Wednesday that will be transferring to the University of San Diego.
Asked why he’s leaving Lehigh, Lynch said, “It wasn’t anything against Lehigh. I’ve done my four years, I’ve graduated . I’m ready for a new college basketball experience. A West Coast Conference opportunity popped up and I feel that’s best.” “His track record , not only at UCLA but on TV as well,” said Lynch. “At St John’s he was able to turn that program around.” Between UCLA, St. John’s and his TV work, he’s got 30-plus years of college basketball experience. He has as much experience as anybody in the country.”
“But I’m a guy who can pick and pop, catch and shoot on the perimeter, knock down 3s. I can score at both those levels.”
