The full lineup, in order of appearance, includes the Bree Jones Band, Page, Calamity, Nathan James and The Rhythm Scratchers, The Fremonts, The Sea Monks and The Farmers .The free, all-ages festival takes place in the center of Julian, on the empty lot at the corner of Main and Washington streets. “The best guitar player I’ve heard in maybe my entire life is floating around now, Pasquale Grasso,” six-string legend Pat Metheny told Vintage Guitar magazine in 2016.
In Australian bassist Paszkudzki, Grasso has a rock-solid instrumental foil. The duo’s San Diego debut should be a memorable one.Arts Fishing Club, with Homes at Night and Dori Valentine But the four-man Arts Fishing Club’s upcoming “Rothko Sky” is the first album I can recall by a band to be named after the painter, who committed suicide in 1970.
