The determined owners of a little pup who is just four weeks old are desperate to fund 'life-saving' surgery for their tiny golden retriever after she was diagnosed with wet puppy syndrome.
A little Lanarkshire puppy is in desperate need of "life-saving" surgery after being diagnosed with a rare condition.
"So, we took her to the vet when she was about 2 weeks old and at first we were told it was a urine infection, which she was treated for and appeared a bit better for a couple days. Lesley was then told if they couldn't fund surgery little Bow would have to be "put to sleep", which Lesley just couldn't believe as she is a "boisterous, healthy, beautiful little puppy".
"We just can't afford the extra vet bills and don't want to hand a perfect in every way puppy over to be put to sleep. This is the first time I have bred my dog. It is our first litter. We are not big professional breeders."
