Thrifty mum makes incredible cardboard fireplace for £10 after daughter worries how Santa will come down the chimney
"The previous years we have had a magic key that we hung outside the front door however, when I went to get it I couldn't find it so Eva began to get upset and was wondering how Santa would get in."I had some boxes in the attic and sourced some from a friends workplace and set about making one."It took me approximately two weeks on and off, sticking and painting in between childcare duties.
"The brick work was the hardest part, I drew around my phone onto cardboard and repeated this until I had around 50 bricks."Seeing her face so happy was magical and made it all worth while."I wasn't planning on keeping it up all year however, I am so happy with how it turned out and feel it gives the front room a more cosy feel so I will be keeping it up all year now.
