OpenTable's annual list spotlights some of the most beloved restaurants in the UK
Three restaurants in Greater Manchester have been recognised in the Top 100 Restaurants in the UK 2022. The distinguished list has been collated based on 1.4 million reviews left by OpenTable diners.
OpenTable's Vice President, Lucy Taylor said: “OpenTable’s annual list of diners’ top 100 is back to celebrate another year of dining across the UK. The list highlights some of the most beloved restaurants and cuisines that our platform has to offer, as well as helping prospective diners discover new and interesting eateries, wherever they may be located.“It's brilliant to see such a diverse array of restaurants up and down the country making the list.
Kala, meanwhile, was opened in 2019 by chef and restauranteur Gary Usher, who also owns Hispi in Didsbury. The restaurant was funded for in part by its own diners, who helped the chef to crowdfund a record-breaking £100,000 in 11 hours by paying for meal vouchers up front.
