A stabbing at a kindergarten in south-eastern China has left six people dead, including three children.
News agency AFP reported that the other three people who were killed in the incident were a teacher and two parents.They described the stabbings as a case of ‘intentional assault’.
The ages of the children and adults who died in the attack have not been released. One person was also left wounded. While incidents of violent crime are rare in China, there have been a number of mass stabbings reported around the country in recent years. In the Jianxi province, which borders Guangdong to the north, three people were killed and six injured in a kindergarten knife attack last August.
