Meghan Markle's estranged father Thomas has made a television appearance to beg his daughter to let him meet his two grandchildren as battles his poor health.
The dad-of-three pulled out of his youngest daughter's nuptials just days before and King Charles kindly offered to step in to walk Meghan down the aisle in his place. Now in an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Thomas opened up to hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid about his hopes to meet Archie and Lilibet before he runs out of time.
Thomas then added: "I'm very upset about it as well because this is a cruel thing to do to a grandparent, not just me but to the King as well, to deny the right to see a grandchild."
