Holly Willoughby, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary will all be attending London's O2 arena next Tuesday but others are reeling as they are forced to watch from home.
ITV staff at This Morning have reportedly been left reeling as they have failed to get an invite to the annual National Television Awards. The event set to take place in just a few day's time on Tuesday next week, September 5, is 'slimming down' attendees.
Those attending the glitzy event at London's O2 arena include 42-year-old This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby, new Great British Bake Off host Alison Hammond, 48, and presenting star 50-year-old Dermot O'Leary. "People are upset at the slimming down as the show is such a group effort and the awards are usually a big night out for the whole team," the source said.
Sources believe the cutbacks could be a result of bosses fearing the incident has shed negative light on This Morning and may affect their chance at scooping the Best Daytime Show award for the 13th year in a row.
