Rumours have circulated over who could take Holly Willoughby’s daytime crown since she left This Morning last year.
As speculation rises about her future on This Morning, the 39-year-old spoke of “drama” and “disrespect” to her 704,000 followers – but the mysterious post, which she gave no context to, was taken down soon after. A source has told OK! following Cat Deeley’s rumoured offer of the biggest job in daytime telly, “Josie wears her heart on her sleeve and sometimes does things – like post on her social media – as a knee-jerk reaction without thinking. Then she thinks about it afterwards,” they added.
Josie sparked concern with fans, after revealing on Instagram on 18 January that she was taking a break to make way for new face, radio presenter Sian Welby, stepping in to host with Dermot O’Leary for a week. In any case, it would seem that Josie is keen to drown out the noise surrounding her and This Morning – and focus on herself, as a source said she’s, “ignoring the drama.”
As for Cat, 47, who works in the States but already has a home in London with her comedian husband Patrick Kielty and their two children Milo, eight, and five-year-old James, she would certainly have the experience to hit the ground running.
