'Nightmare. Years and years of crying.'
Moss and Depp dated for three years from 1994 to 1997 and were reportedly introduced by the celebrity journalist George Wayne. Although they were an adored showbiz pairing in the public eye, Depp andallegedly fought often and frequent reports of intense arguments between the two emerged during the time they were together.
In her recent testimony, Amber Heard referred to a rumour that Depp allegedly pushed Moss down a flight of stairs at the Mark Hotel inin 1994. The hotel room they were staying in had been trashed and Depp was arrested for criminal mischief – but neither of them ever discussed what happened publicly. While describing an incident during which she punched Depp in the face to allegedly protect her sister Whitney, Heard explained: ‘She threw herself in the line of fire…She was trying to get Johnny to stop. Her back was to the staircase, and Johnny swings at her. I don’t hesitate and wait—I instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs.’The staircase incident, if true, happened years before Depp and Moss eventually split and neither has ever referenced violence as the reason for their breakup.
‘The whole thing was crazy because I should never have got so worked up over what people had to say about my work,’ he continued. 'Sure, I should care about my movies but when I get home, I should try to leave that stuff behind. I couldn’t do that, and I was horrific to live with. Trust me, I’m a total moron sometimes.’in 2012: ‘There’s nobody that’s ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a bit…I believed what he said. Like if I said, “What do I do?” he’d tell me.
