A Central Texas lake-front park known for its crystal-clear waters opened just in time for spring break. Comal Park, on the south shore of Canyon Lake, opened March 1. The 116-acre day-use park is only 41 miles north of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country. It stays open till Oct. 31. The park has picnic sites, boat ramps, a pea gravel-and-sand swim beach, a playground and restrooms throughout the park. The park also has equipment so visitors can play sand volleyball, soccer or washer pitching.On ExpressNews.com:
