For Day 1 of Paris's Spring 2020 Haute Couture shows, Christian Dior's Maria Grazia Chiuri presented an ethereal line up standing out amongst the other designers who pushed for the Avant-Garde. The latest collection for the house of Christian Dior brought romance to the runway, with the creative director's grecco-roman inspired visions coming to life.
The Italian designer has presented the modern woman in the eyes of the French Maison, with strong goddess-esque looks with all fabrics flowing behind each model. The collection seemed to be more of a love letter to how resilient and brave today's women are, in silhouettes that capture the movement and feminine bodices of women. Based around earth tones and sprinkled with pops of color, each ensemble allowed the woman wearing them to shine.
