From Bucks Fizz to whisks - Burnley on Come Dine with Me was something to behold
Back in 2013, the Channel 4 show came to the Lancashire town to feature four locals. And in the pantheon of Channel 4 daytime TV heroes, one certainly remains - our very own DJ Kev Riley and his infamous whisk.
On the second night, Mark served pan-seared venison, Lamb confit and white chocolate cheesecake As Mark took a dislike to Jane's starter, the feeling was reciprocated as Jane commented on her dislike of venison for Mark's evening, with the host declaring that the "claws were out tonight." Lastly was Sally's night and after the starters, she admitted she used to sing with famous band Bucks Fizz for four years. Frictions emerged as Sally asked the group who the most competitive was, with everyone agreeing that it was Jane, who seemed relatively offended.
While making his cheesecake, Kev didn't let any of the mixture go to waste - and to the amazement of viewers, shoved the whole of his whisk into his mouth to savour the delicious flavour.
