Royal expert Tessa Dunlop lifted the lid on what the family are planning privately to mark the anniversary of the Queen's death in September.
It’s almost the one-year anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth, who passed away at Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire on September 8.
Speaking to OK!, Dunlop said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “haven’t actively been invited” and “aren’t around”. The broadcaster said: "It's the idea of an open invitation for Harry and Meghan to Balmoral, which obviously for them, it's not a natural home for them."They're not going to be in the country anyway, as Harry will probably be at the Invictus Games in Germany at the same time.
Tessa believes “senior” members of the family will attend the Balmoral service, headed by King Charles and Queen Camilla. The Prince and Princess of Wales with their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis as well as Princess Anne and The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh will also be in attendance.
