Last year, Collette was brought in to replace Mann, and all her previously filmed scenes had to be re-done.“I shot all of my scenes over a period of five weeks for the entire series,” Collette says. “Playing a politician, those people talk a lot, and I had not much time [to prep]. So for a lot of it, I felt like I was hanging off the cliff face, wondering if I was going to survive. It’s been a wild adventure.”is caught up in a massive cultural upheaval.
Collette sees Margot as “a realistic idealist,” she says. “She’s got her feet firmly planted on the ground, but why not be that person who fights for everyone?” She is one of a handful of anchor characters in the series, the plot of which sprawls across the planet.
