StarWars' Emily Swallow has shared a new photo with TheMandalorian cosplayers wearing impressively screen-accurate costumes as her character, the Armorer.🙌
Emily Swallow, who plays the Armorer in The Mandalorian, poses with screen-accurate cosplayers dressed as her character in a new image. Swallow made her Star Wars debut as Din Djarin’s confident, dogmatic leader in the pilot episode of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Swallow went on to reprise her role in three other episodes of The Mandalorian season 1, including the finale in which the Armorer sends Din on his quest to reunite Grogu with his kind.
At the end of The Mandalorian season 2, Din defeated Moff Gideon, laid claim to the Darksaber, and sent Grogu off with Luke Skywalker to learn the ways of the Force. The Book of Boba Fett picks up with the character sometime after the events of season 2 as he reunites with the remaining members of his Mandalorian tribe led by the Armorer. After forging some armor for Grogu, the Armorer trains Din to wield the Darksaber before banishing him for breaking Mandalorian creed by removing his helmet.
In The Book of Boba Fett finale, Din and Grogu left Tatooine and are presumably headed to Mandalore, where Dine will seek atonement for removing his helmet. The Mandalorian season 3 should explain more about the Children of the Watch; specifically, why the Armorer’s tribe broke off from other Mandalorians like Bo-Katan Kryze and spent their time on the moon of Concordia.
