His sister Shelley said he had been ‘enjoying life's simple pleasures in our beautiful kibbutz’ in the days before his death. "He was meant to leave for Tel Aviv the night before but decided to stay one more day to explore the kibbutz with his friend - a decision that has irrevocably changed all our lives forever, and one that cost him his life," she wrote on social media.

Though he can safely cocoon children in a school setting, Mr Dalziel has asked pupils to cover their blazers, which identify their school, outside the gates over anti-Semitism fears. Of those, 12 were reported in Greater Manchester. But it’s feared many more incidents will have gone unreported following the Hamas terror attack on Israel on Saturday.
Shakira Salman, who rents in the suburb, said she doesn’t enter the park after dark when ‘children and families are replaced by roaming gangs dealing drugs’. “We have heard about a few gangs and possibly a bit of unrest in some areas especially in the parks at night there are a few gangs of boys that sell stuff. We avoid coming towards the park after 8pm,” she said.
