. On their latest single “Too Many Things,” the Linda Lindas take stock of their rapidly changing world.
“We had a nonstop, jam-packed, and awesome 2022 playing shows, going on tours, and meeting fans and making friends across the U.S. as well as Spain, Germany, England, Japan, Canada, and Mexico,” the Linda Lindas shared in a statement.
On “Too Many Things,” the band wonders: “What would happen if we all stayed the same?” A moment later, they arrive at a telling realization: “Now I’ve changed, but everything feels out of place.” The Linda Lindas capture the daunting unknowns of the coming-of-age experience in tandem with the anxiety of being a young person in 2023.

Memphis Zoo bids farewell to panda ahead of return to ChinaVisitors at the Memphis Zoo have said goodbye to giant panda Ya Ya during a farewell party ahead of her departure back to China. Highlighted by Chinese cultural performances, the sendoff on Saturday marked the end of a 20-year loan agreement with the Chinese Association of Zoological Gardens that landed Ya Ya in Memphis. Ya Ya was born in 2000 in Beijing. She was joined in Memphis under the loan agreement by Le Le, a male panda who was born in 1998 and died in February ahead of the pair’s planned return to China. Animal advocacy groups have said the pandas have been suffering in the zoo. Zoo officials say that the animals have been well taken care of.
