The first-look image has been unveiled for The Life of Chuck, an upcoming feature based on Stephen King's short story of the same name.
adaptation has joined the titles gracing this year’s TIFF, including Elton John: Never Too Late, Marielle Heller’s Nightbitch, and The Wild Robot. As it gears up for its 49th edition, the festival will be rolling out the red carpet from September 5 to 15.Starring Hiddleston as Charles “Chuck” Krantz, The Life of Chuck is based on King’s 2020 short story of the same name from the author’s anthology If It Bleeds.
“Chuck travels backwards in time viewing his life after dying. In viewing past events, he becomes obsessed with a former student that might have a special gift,” the film’s description reads.In addition to Hiddleston, The Life of Chuck also features some of the big names in the film industry, including, Jacob Tremblay , Mark Hamill , Matthew Lillard , David Dastmalchian , and Heather Langenkamp .
The rest of the cast includes Harvey Guillen, Benjamin Pajak, Trinity Jo-li Bliss, Mia Sara, Q’Orianka Kilcher, Antonio Raul Corbo, Annalise Basso, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, Matt Biedel, Sauriyan Sapkota, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Kate Siegel, Carl Lumbly, Michael Trucco, Violet McGraw, and Molly C. Quinn.Tom Hardy doesn’t think George Miller’s Mad Max: The Wasteland movie is going to happen.
