King needs a forever home
King the cross breed has found himself back at Manchester Dogs Home for the third time in 10 months, and volunteers just can’t understand why. The 14-month-old bull breed arrived at the rescue in September 2021, and is struggling to find somewhere to call home.
After arriving at the dog's home, King has been adopted into two homes, but neither worked out, with each owner returning him to the kennels. Perhaps it’ll be third rescue attempt lucky?A spokesman for the centre said: “This big guy is absolutely awesome, I don't know why he hasn't found someone yet...perhaps it's his size? He's really only a pup still and is very loving whenever I go see him in his kennel he always jumps up on the bars for a stroke.
As a result of his bouncy personality and large frame, King is looking for a home with a family who have experience of large dogs, and any children would need to be over 16. King will need ongoing training and socialisation, so adopters should be willing to devote time to this.
