Fans of ITV's The Chase have paid tribute to a contestant who tragically died in a house fire just before his episode of the popular game show, alongside chaser Paul Sinha, aired
Pete Green's episode of the ITV show aired once again on Tuesday, October 31, with the player going up against Paul Sinha back in 2021 when it initially aired.One viewer wrote: "Can't watch this without feeling a bit sad." A second said: "Beloved Pete, God Bless him. Rest in Eternal Peace." And another chimed in with: "Pete the legend."
His son Ben also spoke out, saying: "Dad was so excited about the episode. He talked about it daily up to the filming and then every week after. “ The news comes as The Chase’s Paul Sinha showed support to his co-star Mark Labbett – who admitted to having a “breakdown” on the ITV programme on Wednesday, 18 October.
Fans of the show have noticed a difference in Mark’s usual confident demeanor during Wednesday night’s show.
