Susan Darbo and Chris Ward say they are desperate for help
Tyler Darbo used to be what many would consider a model student. The autistic teen showed up to all his lessons and never missed a day of education.
“He’s getting more violent and more frustrated. He’s only getting bigger and stronger; he’s been violent for the past 10 years. If you don’t do as he pleases all the time, he’s like a volcano. They say she helped the teen get dressed and he agreed to go to school with her “within minutes” - proving the method really does work.
“They sent one of the safeguarding team members out a very long time go and she actually got him dressed and off to school and he started going back to school for two-and-a-half hours a day. She got him straight back in after the first visit. The only people he responds to are the Piper Hill staff. “He does a lot of pacing about, he might do that a midnight or 1am, even if he’s in a good mood. He’s noisy.
