BMW will offer the new 5-Series station wagon in both ICE and EV guises car auto cars
guises, but it has not yet unveiled the car in Touring form. While we don’t have a date as to when this new version will be showcased to the world, a rendering artist by the name of Theottle has also imagined how such a car could look.
The process of turning the new 5-Series sedan into an estate on Photoshop is relatively easy. To do so, Theottle started out with the roof from the current 3-Series Touring and pasted it onto the 5-Series. As standard, the roof of the 3-Series Touring suits the new 5-Series quite well but some alterations had to be made to ensure everything was perfect.
For example, the artist tweaked the profile of the roof to better match the 5-Series while also painting it in the same shade of red that the sedan was presented in last week. The chrome side window surrounds of the 3-Series Touring have also been finished in black for a more subtle look that to our eye, suits the 5-Series a little better.
