Irlanda Parra, 24, was charged with assault causing bodily injury after an incident outside Jefe's restaurant in Wichita Falls, Texas.
He claimed she tried to use the stun gun on him and the woman he was with, showing police the redness of his hands where he said he had been struck by the weapon.
Witnesses told police that they saw Parra trying to use the stun gun on a number of people in the parking lot—and Parra's husband said another person in the parking lot was eventually able to get the gun away from her.online records from the Wichita County Sheriff's Office show. She was booked into jail on a $2,000 bond on Sunday and released later that day.
KDFX reported that Parra had been granted a protective order in October last year against an unnamed man who had been harassing and threatening her when she filed a claim for child support. According to the station, Parra said the man regularly visited bars and got drunk before coming to her home at all hours of the night to threaten her.
