The Texas Rangers swept the Baltimore Orioles to head to the ALCS and could get reinforcements to their rotation with Max Scherzer and Jon Gray potentially returning
Scherzer had already declared himself ready to return. Sunday's roster announcements, which also include the addition of starting pitcher Jon Gray, make it official.
For the Astros, their only change from the Division Series was replacing outfielder Jake Meyers with right-handed reliever Ronel Blanco. Manager Dusty Baker announced Saturday that reliever Kendall Graveman would not be on the roster as he continues to deal with discomfort in his right shoulder.
