In a short message on Twitter, Disu stated “I’m coming back,” demonstrating that he will not be entering the transfer portal or testing the NBA draft process.

, Disu played some of the best basketball of his career this past season, helping lead the Longhorns on their legendary run up to the Elite Eight this past March. Averaging 16.5 points per game and 7.4 rebounds in his final full eight games of the actual season, Disu suffered a bone bruise in the Round of 32 against Penn State, causing him to sit out for most of the Sweet 16 game against Xavier and the entire Elite Eight matchup against Miami.

Coming back to Austin with a year of healthy potential, Disu will have another chance at leading the Longhorns even further in their season next year.
