At Padre Island National Seashore, the eclipse will be visible at 11:56 a.m. above the south-southeast horizon — if there are clear skies.Most of the country will only be able to see a partial solar eclipse, and will not get the perfect ring of fire — Houston included. San Antonio is one of the few cities where the ring of fire can potentially be seen.
