Two cars crashed on the B5063 in Shawbirch, between Glovers Way and Glade Way.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 4.15pm on Tuesday.Two fire appliances were mobilised from Tweedale and Wellington, but no action was required and nobody was trapped.
Information from AA Traffic News indicated that the road has been closed following the incident, with traffic moving slowly in the area.
