Phoenix police say they were called to an apartment complex near 7th Street and Bell Road just after 10:30 a.m.He was taken to the hospital with injuries police described as"life-threatening." He was later pronounced dead, according to officials.
Officials say the boy's brother was in possession of a handgun at the time of the shooting. The boy grabbed his brother, causing the gun to accidentally discharge.This incident remains under investigation.
