A 16-year-old Antioch boy killed last Thursday in a drive-by shooting in East Oakland that left his cousin wounded has been identified by police.
OAKLAND — A 16-year-old Antioch boy killed last Thursday in an East Oakland drive-by shooting that left his cousin wounded was identified by police Monday as Ki’yehz Brooks.The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. Thursday in the 3000 block of 64th Avenue near Camden Street just outside Concordia Park.
Brooks, who was a student at Hayward High School, died at the scene. His cousin was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and eventually released.
