A TEENAGER is in serious condition in hospital after a Sunday evening road crash on a busy road near Old Kilpatrick.
The 19-year-old was driving her Volkswagen Polo westbound on the A82 around 4.55pm on September 24 when it appeared the vehicle lost control and left the road.
Emergency services attended and she was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where hospital staff describe her condition as serious. Road policing officers in Dumbarton are now appealing for information for anyone who may have witnessed the accident. Sergeant Kenny Malaney said: “Our enquiries into the cause of this crash are continuing and I would urge any witnesses to contact us.
“I am also keen to hear from drivers on this part of the road around the time of the crash as they may have captured footage that will assist us.
