Owen Walker had wrapped the pistol in a towel and hidden it in his family home.
A teenage drug dealer was jailed after his mum discovered a hidden gun while tidying his room. Owen Walker was 19 at the time when his parent found the modified firearm while vacuuming his bedroom last December.
Walker was bailed but within seven months he was caught drug dealing in his hometown while carrying a knife. Worcester Crown Court heard officers searched his home on June 21 where they seized a knife and a machete, as well as cocaine and heroin. Within a week, cops were called to reports of drug dealing near Gillam Street. Walker was nicked and officers found 15 wraps of cocaine, hundreds of pounds in cash, and a "large lock knife".
Top UK & World stories today At Worcester Crown Court, Walker, who is now 20, admitted a string of charges. He pled guilty to possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of a knife, possession of a psychoactive substance with intent to supply and possessing cocaine and diamorphine and cannabis.
