Damage to the house was visible after the incident
A man has been left with serious injuries and a property with structural damage after a car crashed into the side of a property in Darwen, before spinning into a parked car.
Lancashire Police said a Ford Fiesta collided with a house then spun into a parked vehicle. Images of the property today show the side of the building cordoned off by red and white barriers. Brick work on the property is cracked, and a plastic windowsill has suffered some damage. As a result of the crash, a passenger in the Fiesta, a man in his 20s, suffered serious spinal injuries.
Officers are investigating the incident and appealing for witnesses to come forward. A force spokesperson said: "Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashboard mounted camera footage after a serious road traffic collision in Darwen.
