It’s a tricky game, modifying super high performance cars. Because when there are vehicles out there like the 911 GT3, capable from the showroom of lapping the Nurburgring in less than seven minutes, how do you improve it? And how can it be modified without spoiling its core appeal? Now, following Manthey’s, Techart has followed suit with its own package of upgrades.
Not least with a new exhaust poking out of the carbon apron. There can’t be many out there disappointed– the flat six still howling spectacularly even with filters in place – but clearly there’s demand from some quarters for shoutier pipes. It’s made of hand-welded stainless steel, with the full noise set by the exhaust button so it doesn’t annoy all around in more mundane settings.
