Target has announced it will soon be opening a South Lake Tahoe store where Raley's once stood, at the Heavenly Village shopping center.
In some positive news for South Lake Tahoe residents left with, Target, the giant U.S. retailer, announced Tuesday it will move into the space at 4000 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
Target, the Minnesota-headquartered grocery goliath that operates nearly 2,000 stores across the country, would not yet reveal an opening date for the Tahoe spot but told SFGATE the store will be 63,000 square feet and that more details will be coming soon. “We’re excited to bring an easy, safe and convenient shopping experience to new guests in the South Lake Tahoe community with this new Target store,” a spokesperson said over email Tuesday.
