Taiwo Awoniyi has hailed Steve Cooper as one of the best coaches he has worked under, praising his confidence and belief in the squad. Awoniyi, who arrived at Nottingham Forest last summer, has scored 14 goals so far and credits Cooper for his development in the Premier League.
Taiwo Awoniyi has heaped praise on the impact of Steve Cooper at Nottingham Forest. The 26-year-old arrived at the City Ground last summer from Union Berlin for reportedly a club record £17 million. He has since gone on to score 14 goals in all competitions.
“He’s one of the best coaches I’ve worked under,” Awoniyi told Liverpoolfc.com. “The way he goes about things, the way he speaks to players and the confidence he gives. He added: “I have learned so much in my time in England already, and improved so much. The Premier League is different from everywhere else. It is a league where you have to always be ready, physically, technically and mentally.
