Robach introduced Holmes to running when he was going through a difficult time.Sources at the time credited Robach with “saving Holmes on a number of occasions throughout their friendship.”
“He went through a very tough stretch of time, and she gave him things to read, authors to look into, got him into running, and really helped him heal in a lot of ways,” an insider said. Meanwhile, their new relationship is still not sitting well with those close to them. In Robach’s case, for example, “A lot of people who are
are not understanding of how they’re all over each other in public. People who are close to her are unhappy,” another source said.Rumor has it that the couple is also ready to get back to work and are pitching a show together, “like Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.”A rep for the couple did not get back to us.
Meanwhile, away from any controversy, Barber is running the race to support NYRR’s Team for Kids, which this week surpassed $100 million raised for NYRR’s youth and community programs since its inception in 2002.
