A man turns himself in to police after shooting another man in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, early Saturday morning.

According to the Phoenixville Police Department, officers responded to the 200 block of Bridge Street at 12:01 a.m. after officers heard a gunshot in the area. Police said the victim, a 25-year-old man from Quakertown had sustained a single gunshot wound to his hip and witnesses told police the shooter had fled the area on foot.Sign up for NBC Philadelphia newsletters.
