Officials say a non-UT student allegedly pointed a gun at four UT students in the 2400 block of Pearl Street.
The University of Texas Police Department says at around 2:18 a.m. on June 17 that the Austin Police Department received a call about a non-UT student who allegedly pointed a gun at four UT students in the 2400 block of Pearl Street.
The suspects were then seen running into an apartment complex on Pearl Street near West 25th Street. APD requested the assistance of UTPD officers and UTPD officers responded and set up a perimeter. UTPD says the suspects were contained to the building and APD officers made entry and took two people into custody.APD later tweeted out that one suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
