Around 10:32 p.m. Friday, Arlington police responded to a crash in the 5000 block of West Interstate 20. When police arrived, they learned a truck had been disabled between the inside lane and the shoulder of the interstate after a previous crash, police said.A 32-year-old man was arrested on a murder charge Saturday, accused of shooting another man to death at an Arlington apartment complex last month, authorities said.
Darius Brown is accused of shooting Donald Hunt, 40, at a Cypress Club Drive apartment complex on Aug. 26. Authorities said Hunt was in a relationship with one of Brown’s relatives. “Investigators believe the two men got into an argument about that relative inside Mr. Hunt’s apartment, which then escalated into the shooting,” Arlington police said in a news release.
