Man arrested in fatal stabbing of another man in Hayward.
HAYWARD — A suspect has been arrested in theChad Williams, 24, of Hayward, who surrendered to police on Sunday, is accused of fatally stabbing Thomas Boyd, also of Hayward. Williams is being held without bail on suspicion of murder at Santa Rita Jail and was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
Police have not yet provided a motive for the stabbing and have not said if the two men knew each other. Boyd was found at 7:57 a.m. Saturday unresponsive in the 24000 block of Amador Street in the city’s Santa Clara neighborhood close to Centennial Park. He was pronounced dead.
