Dakwon Oliver was taken into custody Wednesday, along with two other suspects in a rash of auto burglaries.
A 25-year-old Prichard man is in custody and facing multiple charges after he admitted to no less than 82 auto burglaries in the Mobile area, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Oliver is charged with 10 counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and six counts of fraudulent use of a credit card. He is also facing revocation of his probation from previous convictions. He is being held without bond at the Mobile Metro Jail awaiting a Sept. 22 court appearance.Montreal Alonzo Standberry, 26, of Mobile was arrested Aug. 25 and charged with seven counts of breaking and entering of a vehicle. He, too, is facing probation revocation.
Also arrested was 32-year-old Norgie Deon Flemming of Prichard, who is charged with hindering prosecution. Investigators found Oliver hiding inside Flemming’s home Wednesday. Flemming also had an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
