Britain's Got Talent legend Susan Boyle has been enjoying a peaceful getaway in Ireland this week
The Scots singing sensation, 61, delighted fans with her surprise visit to the Emerald Isle as she spent some time at the Knock House Hotel in Mayo, in the west of the country. As reported by the Mirror, the I Dreamed A Dream singer, who became a household name after competing on BGT in 2009, posed for photos with excited locals in the area.
Some fans took the comments to share their disappointment at missing a chance to meet Susan, while others gushed over the singer. One fan commented: "OMG, this is literally down the road from me. RAGING that I missed getting a picture with Subo." And a fourth added: "The best act to ever come from BGT!! How wrong Simon Cowell was about her. Always welcome back to Ireland, Susan."
