Suns All-Star Devin Booker (hamstring tightness) looks to return Thursday at Los Angeles Clippers as Phoenix has lost its last five games.
“Having guys like J-Jack that can test you a little bit, bump you and make it a little hard for you," Booker said.
“You know me, I'm trying to get back out there," said Ayton, who scored just five points Tuesday on 2-of-10 shooting. “We’re just in a part of the season things aren’t going our way,” Suns big Bismack Biyombo said. “There’s no need to overreact because it’s a long season. We know the type of team we are. We know what we’re capable of, we know what we’re trying to achieve. When you know your goal, along the journey, there are going to be bumps. So you can’t now change your goals based on the bumps that you’re dealing with like overreacting, fans. Relax. Take a deep breath.
“I actually liked last game,” Booker said. “I think we competed at a high level. We obviously missed a lot of shots we normally make, but we’re just going through that stretch right now. Just trying to weather the storm. Not trying to get too down on ourselves about it. Just keep playing our basketball, get back to what we do and we’ll be in good shape.”
