: I was very emotionally invested in fashion in my younger years. I won the best-dressed superlative in middle school through sheer dedication to dress. In 8th grade, I took a selfie on my digital camera every day of my fully coordinating outfits, from my earrings to the rubber bands in my braces! I want to do an exhibition of these pictures one day.
I treated outfits like equations: I’d plan out my school looks for the week noting where holes needed to be filled and where fabulousness needed to be added. If I was wearing jeans and a T-shirt one day, what accessories could make the look special? Thinking about it now, I’ve always had a stylist’s mind!My first job was studio manager for Mel Ottenberg, and my first day on the job was the day of Rihanna’s Swarovski CFDA award’s dress moment.
