The manager of the complex said that no one was hurt but a few residents were trapped because branches were blocking their doors.
The manager was able to call emergency services for help and they were able to cut the branches away. The wind caused many problems in that area.
The Washington State Department of Natural Resources said that a new fire is burning across about 15 acres of land southeast of Enumclaw. The agency said it’s worried about the fire spreading if the winds continue. Ground crews are working to put out the fire and a cause has not yet been determined.
