The 33-year-old wowed fans at the weekend when she turned up at the dance programme to say hello
Strictly Come Dancing has been missing one of its favourite professionals this series. Welsh dancer Amy Dowden has been undergoing her own challenge since a cancer diagnosis in May 2023.
Fans will remember that Amy underwent a mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer in May, but in July she received a second diagnosis of "another type of cancer". Speaking on It Takes Two - wearing her newly-fitted wig - she revealed that she is close to a treatment milestone for her current cancer.
She was honest about the journey so far, adding: "I'm not going to lie, it is pretty tough, but I am feeling strong and positive."StrictlyComeDanking @ComeDanking said: "this woman is an absolute sweetheart," while Frankie and Clover @strictlyblog said: "So lovely to be able to check in with Amy on the show #ITT #Strictly"
