Strictly Come Dancing fans loved a "sweet" moment during Saturday's show as judge Anton Du Beke mentioned his late friend and former head judge on the BBC show, Len Goodman.

Len sat on the panel on the very first episode of the popular celebrity dancing competition in 2004, keeping his place for 12 years as he secured his spot as a fan favourite. Known for his signature 'seven' when scoring, Len was remembered by Anton during Strictly week six, leaving fans at home and in the audience feeling emotional.

The judge awarded the couple an eight for their dance, a point higher than all of his fellow judges who scored seven out of ten. The couple secured a total score of 29, as writes Bristol Live. Anton's comments left some fans of the show emotional, with one taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, writing: "Anton mentioning 'Dear old Len'," followed by a heart emoji. Another also shared a heart emoji followed by "ahhh Len".
