What better way to celebrate your favorite food or beverage than with community and music outdoors? Local food festivals move ice cream, chicken, beer and more to the forefront of the party.Some events are returning with their full pre-pandemic experiences. Others are new offerings.Sadly, this is the final year for what has been the state’s largest wine festival, after the state legislature eliminated funding for the Indiana Wine Grape Council that organizes the event.
It’s going out at full force though, with about 24 wineries from throughout Indiana sampling and selling hundreds of wine and a dozen food trucks onsite for the send off. Live entertainment will come from the stage.Tickets: $50 to $100 pre-sale only at
